For instance if you are seeing more percentage new visitors on that report, you know that more people are finding your site on search engines.

Whereas this metric gives only a partial picture of your websites presence in search results, it’s helpful to know both on an overall and keyword basis. Impressions are basically the number of times your web site appeared in search results for a given keyword phrase. You will able to see this metric for configuring Google Webmaster tools or by using some other paid webmaster and analytics sites.

The number of impressions can tell you if Google or some other search engines finds your pages relevant for a given query. You’ll review the webmaster and make your page more relevant.

CTR (Click Through Rate)

The CTR from search results can indicate that users don’t find rich snippets related to your site relevant to their search queries. Users looking for search results they used as well as information related to the query.

Rich snippets are helps to grab a more user and make them click through to your website. If your CTR is low, try changing up your Meta and Title tags. You can make good description and rich snippets in search by using Google’s structured data testing tool.

Conversion Rates (or) Call To Action

The conversion rate at which users complete the actions on your pages, conversion could be a form fill, calling a phone number, downloading a white paper or any other actions. If your page is rank well, but they aren’t doing what you want them to do when they get to the landing page that is a good indication that it needs to be change landing page more user friendly.

Bounce Rate

The rate at which users view your landing page from organic search and leave without viewing any other pages on your site can also give you a good idea of how relevant it is to them. For search engines, links and other optimization methods can make a page relevant. For users, if the page doesn’t contain useful information for solve their problem, they will leave.

Anchor Text Distribution

The distribution of anchor text is important to watch. You want to make sure abnormal patterns aren’t showing up along with spikes in data. When people build links, their first thought generally isn’t to help a site they are linking to rank for a particular keyword. Try to build quality links and distribute your keywords phrase on related third party sites its helps to improve your ranks on search.
